FOR Magnolia, the quarterly journal of the Southern Garden History Society
The Southern Garden History Society invited me to write a story for their quarterly journal, Magnolia. This publication provides scholarly articles on historic gardens and gardeners, plants, and garden restorations.
Since I was directing the Eudora Welty House & Garden at the time, I was asked to provide a scholarly article about Eudora Welty and her Night-Blooming Cereus Club.
The article became the cover story of the Fall/Winter 2024 issue.
I then had the opportunity to write this companion blog post for the Southern Garden History Society website:
I truly enjoy writing long-form articles that require a bit of research. They make excellent content to offer readers of magazines, blogs, or websites.
